Accidents can be caused by a number of factors ranging from driver error to poor weather conditions to a mechanical failure in a vehicle. Some accidents are unavoidable; but when negligence or a mistake causes a collision to occur, the laws in Illinois enable the victims of those crashes to seek relief for their injuries. Officials are still conducting an investigation into the crash and trying to determine what caused the victim to lose control of his vehicle. No other cars were involved and no other injuries were reported due to the collision.
