Few details have been disclosed at this time about a collision between two vehicles on I-57 on Tuesday morning other than that five people were harmed, one of them critically. Police confirmed a response to the crash that occurred near Monee Manhattan Road in Will County around 4:30 a.m. and found that two vehicles were involved in a T-bone collision in or near a grass median. Reportedly, five people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment including one adult in critical condition and one child.
Police have not yet speculated publicly about who or what was to blame for the collision nor have they revealed whether any citations or criminal charges will be issued as a result of the crash.
