Police in Carpentersville have confirmed that a 38-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday night and that several other people were injured. The incident occurred near the intersection of Marian Road and Route 25 but few details about the crash itself, including the suspected cause, have been released. Police have confirmed that the victim was riding a motorcycle in the area when a collision happened between the biker and a nearby SUV.
It does not appear that anyone else was on the motorcycle at the time but several people were inside the SUV and they complained of injuries that are believed to be minor.
